 | About UsRev. S. Thangarathinam is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Jesus Gospel Church situated in Sellankuppam, Cuddalore,Tamil Nadu , South India . He is also the founder of Gospel Team that includes laymen and pastors of different denominational churches. Bro. Thangarathinam was born in a Christian family in 19/3/1940 at a place called Surandai, Tirunelveli district. He completed B.Sc Zoology in American College, Madurai and worked as a school teacher for 33 years. He was an atheist and got saved in 1961 while he was reading a famous book called “John Bunyan Pilgrims Progress”.
In 1962 Bro.S.Thangarathinam came to Cuddalore and preached the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in South Arcot district, Villupuram district and Puducherry for about 45 years where there was no electricity and gospel preaching, particularly in villages those days . Several churches have been established only after him. Even today with God’s strength he is preaching the words of Our Living God. ServicesThe basic vision of our church is to reach the unreached. Although our church is a small church, more concentration is given only to evangelism and street preaching, particularly villages as this is our basic vision . During Christmas season we select few villages as the Lord leads , arrange street processions which runs to about 5 km and preach the word of God just as Our Lord Jesus Christ preached. Many church pastors and believers from various church denominations like CSI, Lutheran, Catholic and Pentecostal join in our procession. Rev. A. Joel is the Founder of Maranatha Prophetic Ministries. He is an evangelist and preaches the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Puducherry. He also preaches God's word in Jesus Gospel Church,Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu which is about 24 km away from Puducherry, South India.
‘ In the year 1993 Bro. Andrew Joel completed Bachelor degree in Agriculture.He then surrendered his complete life to serve the Lord as Full Time Preacher after receiving a special calling from the Lord Almighty. In Nov.2004, The International Institute of Church Management (IICM) awarded Brother the Doctorate Degree after his completion of ‘Doctor of Divinity ‘ studies in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
